Tasks can be found in the left hand panel. Here are where all types of tasks are housed.

What are tasks?

The following tasks can be found and launched from this module:

  • Actions

  • Document requests

  • Signature requests

  • Surveys

More information about these functions can be found in the articles: Actions, Document Request and Signatures Request and Surveys.

To launch any of the respective tasks, click the Request button

A drop down will then appear displaying each task.

How to find tasks you have created

Once you have navigated to the Tasks page from the left hand side panel, you will see a list of tasks you have created. Easiest method way to find a task is to sort them.

Sorting tasks

Here’s how sorting works for each column when you choose ascending order. Descending simply reverses these orders:

  • Name: Tasks are sorted alphabetically from A to Z based on their title.

  • Status: Tasks are sorted in this specific progression: Draft → Overdue → Pending review → In progress → Completed.

  • Assignee: Tasks are sorted alphabetically A to Z by the assignee’s displayed name. For groups, it sorts by the group name. Tasks without an assignee always appear last.

  • Type: Tasks are sorted alphabetically by type, usually in this order: Action → Document → Signature → Survey. Note that this order may vary depending on localization.

  • Due date: Tasks are sorted by their due dates starting with the earliest, moving toward later dates, and tasks without a due date appear last.

To change the order, hover over the label in the table and click the sort icon that appears.

The tasks will then be sorted accordingly.

Downloading documentation directly from Tasks

If you have attached any documentation to a task, you may download these documents directly.

Who: Any user with rights to view the task

When and how: If a task includes an attached document, open the side panel and click the three dots to download the attachment.

Where: Inside the task view, next to each document

You can organize your tasks by sorting them according to different criteria such as due date, priority, status, and more. This helps you focus on what’s most important and manage your workload efficiently.

Filtering and searching tasks

To help you find what you’re looking for, the Tasks page includes filters and a search bar. You can use both together — results will only include tasks that match all selected filters and your search query.

Changes apply automatically as soon as you select or type.

Filters

Click the filter icon in the search bar to see all available filters and quick filters.

Quick filters

These are shortcuts for commonly used combinations. Some quick filters sync with standard filters:

Due within 30 days

Group: {Group Name}

Meeting: {Meeting Name}

Standard filters

You can also filter by task attributes using the dropdowns:

  • Meeting – Select one or more permitted meetings
(sorted by date, with search support)

  • Assignee – Choose one or more users
(includes all statuses, sorted A–Z by name)

  • Type – Filter by task type
    (sorted alphabetically)

Click Clear all to remove all filters and show the full task list. Your search query will stay in place.

Search

Click the search bar and type at least two characters to search task titles.

  • Results update as you type

  • Search only looks at task titles (not descriptions or comments)

  • Click the ✕ icon to clear your query (filters remain active)

Search works on its own or with filters.

If no tasks match, you’ll see a No tasks found message.

💡Filters and search reset automatically when

  • You reload the page

  • You navigate away from the Tasks page

  • You create a new task
