Manage integrations

You can manage your integrations in your workspace information section:

To access and manage your integrations to Zoom, Microsoft, or Google, follow these steps within the Ideals Board interface:

  1. Navigate to the bottom-left corner of the screen and click on your name.

  2. Select Connections from the menu options.

  3. Once the Connections window opens, locate the specific software you wish to integrate and click Connect.

You'll know your account is connected when you see your email in the integrations window:

Users can follow this process though by clicking on Connect accounts, which is also brings up the modal offering integrations.

Press Connect accounts and follow the corresponding steps. We have outlined these below in more detail.

Connecting your tools

Ideals Board integrates with the most popular tools to make your meetings run as smoothly as possible, wherever you are in the world. You can:

Connect to Zoom

Zoom is a popular video conferencing platform that allows people to hold virtual meetings and communicate via video link. Zoom provides tools for text messaging, file sharing, and collaboration, making it useful for work meetings and training.

It's easy to set up a Zoom connection in Ideals Board when you create a meeting.

Connecting to your Microsoft account will will help you track RSVP responses through your Outlook calendar

Disconnect your Microsoft account

If you no longer want to use Microsoft to run your virtual meetings, or you simply want to disconnect your account, it's easy to remove the Microsoft connection.

  1. Open the modal offering integrations window

  2. Select Disconnect to disconnect your Microsoft account

Connect to Google Calendar

  1. In the modal offering integrations window, click the Connect button next to the Google Calendar icon.

  2. Sign in to your Google account.

  3. You will be greeted with a confirmation toaster confirming the action.

Once connected, new meetings (draft or published) scheduled for the future will appear in your calendar with full details, participants, and RSVP tracking.

How syncing works

  • Changes to meeting details or participants will update your calendar and reset RSVPs.

  • Removing a meeting from your calendar won’t delete it from the Board.

  • Deleting a meeting on the Board won’t cancel the calendar integration—only the event from your calendar.

Limitations

  • Only future meetings sync.

  • Meetings published before integration was enabled won’t sync automatically—you’ll need to manually add them using Add to Outlook/Google from the meeting’s edit page.

  • You can check which calendar account is linked by hovering over the ‘i’ icon in the meeting view.
