If you're a secretary, see the Secretary tasks on the dashboard article.

Navigate your dashboard

Your dashboard is where you land when you log in to iDeals Board. It shows upcoming meetings and tasks that need your attention.

If you don't have any meetings scheduled within the next two months, and you have no minutes to review, your dashboard will look like this:

Once an upcoming meeting has been published, and it's less than two months away, your dashboard will look like this:

Prepare for a meeting

When the secretary publishes the book for an upcoming meeting, your dashboard will update. You'll have access to everything you need: the book and the agenda.

Once you open the book, the reading assistant shows your reading progress.

Select Continue reading to open the board book where you left off.

Select Hide reading progress to collapse the progress view. (Select Show reading progress to view it again.)

Select an agenda item to view it or continue reading.

If new documents have been added to the book since you last viewed it, the dashboard will notify you that there are new items to read.

On the day of the meeting

The dashboard will show you the current status of your tasks and allow you to view the board book.

You'll see a countdown timer showing when the meeting is due to start and a link to join the meeting (if virtual). If attending in person, you'll see the physical address of the meeting. You can also open the board book here.

Manage post-meeting tasks

Once the meeting is complete, the dashboard shows relevant information about the meeting and an update on the progress of the meeting minutes. Until the secretary prepares the meeting minutes, your dashboard will look like this:

Once the minutes are prepared and published, your dashboard is updated and you'll be prompted to review the meeting minutes.

Once you've read the meeting minutes, they will remain available for the next 15 days. If a new version is uploaded, you'll also be notified here.

View recently shared documents

Your dashboard shows any documents that have recently been shared with you and when they were shared. Select a document to view the content.

Recently shared documents are displayed until they're opened and for two days after opening.

If there are no documents shared with you, this section will not appear on your dashboard.
