Connect to Zoom

Zoom is a popular video conferencing platform that allows people to hold virtual meetings and communicate via video link. Zoom provides tools for text messaging, file sharing, and collaboration, making it useful for work meetings and training.

It's easy to set up a Zoom connection in iDeals Board when you create a meeting.

Set up your Zoom connection

  1. In your meeting, under the Video conferencing link box, select Connect Zoom.

    Or, if you want to connect Zoom and automatically add Zoom links when you create every meeting, select the cog icon then select Connect Zoom.

  2. The Zoom Sign in page is displayed. Enter your email address and password then select Sign in. Or, you can sign in with SSO, Apple, Google or Facebook.


  3. The Zoom Authorization page is displayed. Read this page carefully.


  4. If you're happy to continue, at the bottom of the page, select Allow this app to use my shared access permissions, then select Allow. (If you don't want to allow iDeals Board to use your shared access permissions, select Decline.

Once you've successfully signed in to Zoom and made the connection, iDeals Board will automatically add your Zoom meeting link to any meetings you create. You'll have full access to all the functionality that exists in Zoom.

Disconnect your Zoom account from iDeals Board

If you no longer want to use Zoom to run your virtual meetings, or you simply want to disconnect your account, it's easy to remove the Zoom connection.

  1. Select the cog icon next to the Video Conferencing link box.

  2. Select Remove Connection to disconnect your Zoom account.

Connect to Microsoft

Microsoft Teams is a workspace for real-time collaboration, virtual meetings, and more.

For virtual or hybrid meetings, it's easy to set up a Microsoft Teams call when you create a meeting.

  1. In your meeting, under the Video conferencing link box, select Connect Microsoft Teams.

  2. The Microsoft Sign in page is displayed. Enter your Microsoft email address then select Next. Follow the steps to sign in.

Once you've successfully signed in to Microsoft Teams, iDeals Board can automatically add your Teams meeting link to any meetings you create.
