Manage notifications
For some key actions in meetings, such as scheduling a meeting or publishing an agenda, you can notify all or selected participants.
Initial meeting creation
When a meeting is created and you send the invitations, attendees will receive an email (with a .ics file) and can also confirm the meeting directly from their chosen calendar. It will be visible straight away and will update automatically if the meeting changes.
An ICS file is a calendar file saved in a universal calendar format used by several email and calendar programs, including Microsoft Outlook, Google Calendar, and Apple Calendar. Find out more about the iCalendar format on Wikipedia.
Once the meeting is scheduled and the invitation accepted, participants are notified about any changes. Notifications can be sent for the following events:
Changes to the meeting
Changes to the agenda
Changes to the minutes
If you change the agenda and board book for a meeting you've scheduled, you can
save the changes without notifying anyone, or you can save the changes and send an email notification to the meeting participants.
Changing a meeting
